Intermittent fasting

A diet in which the person doesn't eat for an extended period of time: usually at least 12 hours and up to multiple days. One of the most common methods is "16:8" in which there is an 8 hour eating window during the day, followed by a 16 hour fasting window overnight and into the next day.
