Irish Moss

Belonging to the Gigartinaceae family and the Chondrus genus, this species of red algae, also known as Chondrus crispus, thrives along the rocky parts of the Atlantic coasts of Europe and North America. It is best cultivated in full sun with regular watering and excellent drainage. Its common name is Irish Moss.
