Long short-term memory

It is an artificial recurrent neural network (RNN) architecture used in the field of deep learning. Unlike standard feedforward neural networks, LSTM has feedback connections that make it a 'general purpose computer'. It can process not only single data points, but also entire sequences of data, making it particularly effective for tasks involving long sequences of data.
