Referring to the moon, the term 'lunar' is used in various contexts such as lunar cycle, lunar eclipse, and lunar surface. The moon, being Earth's only natural satellite, holds the fifth position in terms of size in our solar system and is the only celestial body beyond Earth that has been visited by humans.
