Dry lubricant

Materials that reduce friction between two surfaces in contact without the need for a liquid oil medium. The most common dry lubricants are graphite and molybdenum disulfide, which are effective in high-temperature environments or where contamination by liquid lubricants is a concern. These lubricants are particularly beneficial for applications in aerospace, automotive, and industrial machinery where traditional liquid lubricants might not be suitable.
