sympy

SymPy is a Python library designed for symbolic computation. It offers standalone application capabilities, can be integrated into other applications, or used live on the web. Developed by Aaron Meurer, Ondřej Čertík, and Marc-Etienne M. Leveille, it was first released in 2007. It is open-source and licensed under the New BSD License. The library's goal is to evolve into a comprehensive computer algebra system, while maintaining simplicity in its code.
