Fentanyl overdose
A Fentanyl overdose occurs when an individual consumes a quantity of Fentanyl, a potent synthetic opioid, that exceeds the body's ability to process it safely. Due to its high potency, even a small amount can lead to severe respiratory depression, unconsciousness, and potentially death. This condition primarily affects individuals who misuse the drug, either intentionally or accidentally, and requires immediate medical intervention, often with the administration of Naloxone (Narcan).
