NumPy

This Python library, known as NumPy, is instrumental in handling large, multi-dimensional arrays and matrices. It also includes a collection of high-level mathematical functions for operations on these arrays. Developed by Travis Oliphant, it was initially released as Numeric in 1995 and later as NumPy in 2006. The ndarray object, encapsulating n-dimensional arrays of homogeneous data types, forms the core of the NumPy package.
