Asr prayer

The Asr prayer is one of the five daily prayers (Salah) that Muslims perform. It is the third prayer of the day, performed in the afternoon, starting when the shadow of an object is equal to its height and ending just before sunset. This prayer consists of four units (rak'ahs) and is a mandatory act of worship for Muslims.
