Flatpak

Serving as a software utility for Linux, Flatpak provides a sandbox environment that allows applications to run in isolation from the rest of the system. It was first made available in September 2015 and is maintained by the Flatpak Team. Written in C, its latest stable release is 1.14.5 as of December 2023. It offers application developers a consistent environment and full control over dependencies.
