Pilates reformer

This bed-like frame with a flat platform, known as the carriage, is a key component in Pilates exercises. The carriage, which moves back and forth within the frame on wheels, is connected to one end of the reformer by springs. This apparatus was conceived by Joseph Pilates, the originator of the Pilates exercise method, and is used to enhance flexibility, strength, and balance.
