Founded in 2017 by JB Straubel, this Nevada-based company specializes in recycling lithium-ion batteries and producing battery materials for electromobility and electrical storage systems. Their goal is to establish a closed-loop, domestic supply chain through the recycling and refining of lithium-ion batteries and the remanufacturing of anode and cathode components. As of July 2021, the company's valuation stood at approximately $3.7 billion.
