Sebaceous filament

Naturally occurring, tube-like structures that line the walls of pores and are filled with sebum (oil) and dead skin cells. Sebaceous filaments help channel the flow of sebum through the pores to the surface of the skin, playing a crucial role in maintaining skin health. They are a normal part of the skin's function and are often mistaken for blackheads, which are a type of acne.
