This open-source NewSQL database supports Hybrid Transactional and Analytical Processing workloads. It's MySQL compatible and primarily developed and supported by PingCAP. Available as a paid product, it was first released on October 15, 2017, with a stable release of 7.6.0 as of 25 January 2024. It operates under the Apache 2.0 license.
