The firm, a subsidiary of Power Corporation of Canada and Power Financial, was established by Michael Katchen, Brett Huneycutt, Som Seif, and Rudy Adler. It also provides Wealthsimple Trade, a commission-free trading platform for buying and selling thousands of stocks without additional fees.
