Correctiv

Based in Essen, Germany, Correctiv is a nonprofit investigative journalism newsroom. Established in 2014 by David Schraven, it operates under the umbrella of CORRECTIV – Recherchen für die Gesellschaft gemeinnützige GmbH, which also manages the online journalism academy, Reporterfabrik. With a team of around 20, its mission is to empower citizens with access to information.
