Fire blanket

A safety device designed to extinguish small fires by smothering them and cutting off their oxygen supply. Typically made from fire-resistant materials such as fiberglass or Kevlar, fire blankets are effective for fires involving cooking oils and fats and can also be used to wrap around a person whose clothes are on fire. They are commonly used in kitchens, laboratories, and other places where small fires might occur.
