Pakistani rupee

Serving as the official currency of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Pakistani rupee, denoted by the ISO code PKR, is issued and controlled by the State. It is subdivided into 100 paise, although this division is now largely theoretical as paise are no longer in circulation. The rupee's symbol is Rs and it comes in various denominations in both coin and banknote forms.
