Top SEO Conferences You Can't Miss in 2026 & 2027

SEO is important to every business. And with the dawn of the AI era, it's becoming more nuanced and complex than ever before.

Whether you’re creating content for clients or trying to grow your own agency, SEO conferences allow you to learn from the best in the business.

Advantages of SEO Conferences

Many of the core principles of SEO remain the same, but AI has caused a significant paradigm shift. Suddenly, businesses are optimizing for LLMs and adjusting to zero-click searches. 

Meanwhile, changes to Google’s algorithm are also impacting content strategy for many businesses.

SEO conferences are a brilliant way of hearing from leading experts about the latest developments. Seeking out the right conference for you will also allow you to network with fellow industry professionals.

From Chiang Mai to Brighton, and with some virtual options too, there are plenty of upcoming SEO conferences that should be on your radar. I’ve put together a list of some of the key events in 2026.

Upcoming In-Person SEO Conferences 2026

Spotlight by Semrush

Top of the list is the 2026 Spotlight by Semrush event which takes place in London on October 13th. It's for all kinds of marketers, but there will certainly be plenty of SEO content.

A £249 ticket gives you access to keynotes and mastermind classes, including 80+ expert speakers from OpenAI, Visa, Wix, McKinsey, ElevenLabs and more.

Keynotes this year will come from Helen Pollitt, the Director of SEO for Getty Images, and thought leaders like Lily Ray and Kevin Indig.

A Conference Pass includes expo admittance and refreshments, plus the option of attending a Semrush Boot Camp. Upgrade to the £529 All Access Pass if you'd like to attend the enterprise stage and a warm up party, with three mastermind sessions included in the cost, and a preferential Boot Camp rate.

There's also a £749 VIP bundle that includes access to all events, stages, and activities.

Spotlight takes place at Old Billingsgate in central London, close to London Bridge and Monument tube stations.

SERP Conf. Rome

A one-day event, SERP Conf. comes to Rome on October 16. There will also be a two-day event in Vienna in November.

The Rome event covers SEO, E-commerce and AI. Over 3,200 attendees are expected, with speakers including Crystal Carter, head of AI Search and SEO Comms at Wix. 

Tickets cost €349 (~$390), with a VIP bundle available for €499. The premium package includes an exclusive dinner with the speakers, and a networking cocktails event. 

Tech SEO Connect

Tech SEO Connect is a specialist technical SEO conference. It will take place in Durham, North Carolina from November 5-6.

This differs from a lot of other SEO conferences on the list. It describes itself as “the conference made for Technical SEOs by Technical SEOs”, with a total focus on back-end search engine optimization techniques.

Speakers include Krishna Madhavan, the Principal Product Manager of Microsoft AI and the Bing Web Data Platform, and Michael King, founder of iPullRank. You can buy a ticket for $1073.93.

Chiang Mai SEO Conference

The Chiang Mai SEO Conference will be held in Thailand from November 9-13. With 800 attendees, it's not one of the biggest events on our list, but it attracts some of the biggest names.

Founded by Matt Diggity, the conference this year will cover topics like Technical SEO, AI SEO, and Link Building. You'll hear from the likes of Kyle Roof (PageOptimizer Pro), Michal Suski (Surfer), and Dennis Yu (BlitzMetrics). 

All ticket types are currently still on sale. A standard pass costs $897, with a VIP package available for $2,797.

MozCon

The US edition of MozCon has passed this year. But the UK conference will be held on November 13 in London. 

Speakers include Helen Pollitt, the Director of SEO at Getty Images, as well as various in-house Moz experts. You can view a previous slide deck from Dr. Pete Meyers online.

“Brand or Bust” was among the themes of MozCon 2024.

Tickets are currently available for £599 (~$793) plus tax. There's also a VIP bundle available for £899, featuring an exclusive VIP dinner, priority seating, and increased networking opportunities.

SEO Conferences to Look Out For in 2027

You've seen the confirmed SEO conferences that I'm really excited about in 2026. But details of new conferences are always coming out.

I keep this article updated monthly, so you can check back here to find out the latest information. For now, here are some upcoming conferences in 2027. They haven't all yet confirmed full details, but they are still worth looking out for:

Sydney SEO Conference

The 2026 edition of the Sydney SEO Conference was held in March. And it has confirmed next year's date: March 12, 2027. 

Tickets for next year are already on sale for a Very Early Bird rate of $299 (~$210 USD) plus tax, and it's worth keeping an eye out for more details: keep checking back in with our list. Aleyda Solis was recently confirmed as a returning speaker.

Topics at the 2026 conference included "How LLMs Really Work (And How It Affects Your Content Strategy)", "The E-Commerce Playbook for GEO: Winning in AI-Powered Search", and "What AI Means for Brands: How to Stay Visible, Relevant, and Chosen".

Women in Tech SEO Festival (WTSFest)

WTSFest is hosted by Women in Tech SEO. Starting out in 2019 as an online community for female SEO specialists, the group’s in-person conference (first held in 2020) has become a major event.

The next edition will be in London on March 19, 2027. Early bird tickets are already sold out, but you can get a standard ticket for £599 plus tax.

Only open to women and those of marginalized genders, it's also always a female-led speaker lineup. Confirmed speakers in London include Crystal Carter, Helen Pollitt, and Hadeer ElMalah.

WTSFest has been such a hit that the brand has branched out worldwide. After the UK flagship conference, the conference heads to Portland in June.

BrightonSEO

BrightonSEO is marketed as the world’s largest SEO conference. Its flagship event in the UK seaside resort draws over 5,000 attendees.

Following an October 2026 event, the conference returns to Brighton on April 15-16, 2027. Targeted SEO has previously attended, describing it as an “incredible experience”.

Agentic commerce was among the topics at a recent edition of BrightonSEO.

Tickets are on sale now. You can secure a basic 2-day pass for £265 ($350) plus tax, with additional VIP and training packages available too. 

The success of the conference over the years has allowed the “BrightonSEO” brand to branch out to the United States, and the San Diego edition will be held from September 9-10.

Tech SEO Summit

Tech SEO Summit is a specialized technical SEO event that describes itself as a "nerd conference". It already ran this year, taking place in Hamburg on April 23, but it just confirmed a date for next year: April 22, 2027, back in Hamburg.

You really can expect a deep dive into the weeds of technical SEO. Last time out, for example, Paul Calvano of Etsy spoke on "fonts and web performance."

Martin Splitt, a Developer Relations Engineer at Google, also attended. His talk "dove into TLS, TCP/IP, HTTP/2/3, web sockets, service workers and other fun things and how they can make life better... or worse... for you and your users."

Tickets for 2027 are available for 949 euros ($1063), plus tax. Johan von Hülsen is the first confirmed speaker, discussing his SEO learnings from building an internal search engine.

SEO Week

SEO Week is another event that took place earlier in 2026. Hosted by iPullRank, the 4-day conference ran in New York in April.

It's held annually, and dates have been confirmed for next year: April 26-29, back in New York. Tickets are available at an Early Bird rate of $1,499 until the new year.

The previous edition split each day into themes: The Science, The Psychology, The Ecosystem, and The Future.

It's always an interesting conference. Basha Coleman of Hubspot attended a previous edition of SEO Week, and said: "The practicality exceeded my expectations. Tangible takeaways everywhere."

International Search Summit

The International Search Summit will take place on May 13, 2027 in Barcelona. The agenda and speakers are still TBC, and you can actually apply to speak if this is your area of expertise.

It’s a specialized conference focused squarely on international SEO. Carolyn Shelby of Yoast was among the speakers at a previous edition, presenting on “hreflang” HTML tags.

The International Search Summit is a specialist conference.

The agenda for the last edition of the conference was split into four tracks: International SEO, International Content, AI Innovators, and International Paid Media. Speakers from SEOTesting and Rank Expert were among those featuring on the SEO track.

Upcoming Virtual SEO Conferences

You can learn a lot about SEO online. For instance, we’ve got a mega-list of 130 SEO statistics, while Semrush has a comprehensive suite of SEO tools.

And for many SEO specialists, virtual conferences present a more practical and budget-friendly option. Lots of online-only events still offer great speakers and a chance to learn about the latest developments in the field. Here’s a selection of what’s coming up in 2026.

SEO Square

SEO Square is entirely online and completely free. And it recently confirmed dates for 2026: October 13-14.

The France-based conference is expected to attract more than 5,000 virtual attendees. You can also register online to watch all of last year's content, which was made available in both English and French. 

Speakers for 2026 include Juliette Bègue, Marketing Manager at Ahrefs, and well-known SEO specialist Neil Patel.

NESS

The News and Editorial SEO Summit is dedicated specifically to SEO for news publishers. And it attracts some of the biggest names in SEO; Rand Fishkin is a former speaker.

Last year, AI big-hitter Marie Haynes was in attendance. That conference was held fully online from October 21-22, and you're still able to buy the video recordings for $299.

Dates for 2026 have now been confirmed: October 13-15. A lineup of speakers includes representatives from The Athletic, WSJ, Reach PLC, CBS News, and keyword research company AlsoAsked.

800+ attendees are expected, and you can buy a ticket for $399. If you're buying 5+ tickets, you'll get a group discount down to $199 per ticket. 

SMX Next

SMX Next is run by Search Engine Land, which also hosts the in-person Advanced conference. But this event is entirely online.

This year, it's set to be held on November 18. Free registration is open now, and you can expect an agenda covering SEO, GEO, PPC, and AI training.

On the PPC front, you can expect to hear from firms like Inside Google Ads, Optmyzr, and Adalysis:

A live Q&A will follow most sessions. Or you can catch up on sessions on-demand as soon as the broadcast finishes.

Brighton SEO

Brighton SEO is an in-person conference, but it caters for those unable to physically attend. Once the conference is over, all of the talk recordings are available to buy.

For instance, you can order the video bundle for the April 2026 conference. It's available for approximately $200.
