Redis

Known as an open-source, in-memory data structure store, Redis is used as a database, cache, and message broker. It was first released in 2009 and has since become a popular choice for high-performance database needs. It operates on Unix-like systems and can handle a large number of simultaneous connections. Redis is developed by Salvatore Sanfilippo and is written in C and ANSI C.
