Originating from Google, Bazel is a tool designed for the automation of software building and testing. It's recognized for its ability to build heavy-duty software quickly and reliably, and is utilized by industry leaders such as Google, Stripe, and Dropbox. Bazel, an anagram of Blaze, is essentially Google's internal build tool that was made public in March 2015.
