Squalane

This organic compound, a colorless hydrocarbon, is the hydrogenated derivative of squalene. It's commonly used as a moisturizing ingredient in skin care products due to its hydrating properties. With a formula of C30H62 and a boiling point of 176 °C at 7 Pa, it is derived from nature. Interestingly, it is also found in some COVID-19 vaccines.
