Anthropocene

This term refers to the current geological age, viewed as the period during which human activity has been the dominant influence on climate and the environment. The epoch is marked by significant changes to the planet's ecosystems and climate, largely due to human activities such as deforestation, pollution, and most notably, the emission of greenhouse gases.
