Shaoxing wine

This is a type of Chinese Huangjiu made from fermented glutinous rice, water, and wheat-based yeast. It's primarily produced in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province and is commonly used as a beverage and a cooking wine in Chinese cuisine. Also referred to as hua diao wine, which translates to 'carved flower wine'.
