Duty drawback

A refund program for customs duties, taxes, and fees paid on imported merchandise that is later exported or destroyed. The duty drawback program aims to encourage U.S. businesses to export more by reducing the costs associated with importing goods that are subsequently exported. It is administered by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and benefits businesses involved in international trade.
