Orthostatic headache
A type of headache that worsens when a person is in an upright position and is relieved when they lie down. This condition is often associated with cerebrospinal fluid leaks or other underlying medical issues that affect intracranial pressure, differentiating it from migraines which are not posture-dependent. Orthostatic headaches primarily affect individuals with conditions that impact cerebrospinal fluid dynamics or intracranial pressure regulation.
