Sensory overload

Sensory overload occurs when one or more of the body's senses experiences overstimulation from the environment. This condition can be triggered by factors such as loud noises, bright lights, strong smells, or a combination of multiple sensory inputs, and is often associated with conditions like autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorder. Individuals affected by sensory overload may experience symptoms such as irritability, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, and a need to escape the overwhelming stimuli.
