Digital therapeutics

Subset of digital health that delivers evidence-based therapeutic interventions to patients through high-quality software programs to prevent, manage, or treat medical disorders or diseases. Digital therapeutics are distinct from other digital health solutions as they must demonstrate clinical efficacy and safety through rigorous clinical trials, similar to traditional pharmaceutical treatments. They are often used for chronic disease management, mental health conditions, and other areas where behavior modification and patient engagement are critical.
